We have three function rooms for hire:

The Amble, which seats 80 with a standard set up, can hold up to 120 not seated

The Belsay, which seats 150 with a standard set up, can hold up to 200 (no disabled access)

The Callerton, which seats 200 with a standard set up, can hold up to 250 not seated

Function Information

  • Call us on 0191 270 0885, Email us or come into our reception
  • The Room Hire needs to be paid in full when booking, we do not hold dates or make provisional bookings
  • Any extras including catering or DJ must be paid in full 2 weeks before the event
  • We host many events in our suites including Birthdays, Engagement Celebrations, Christenings and more please contact us for unique enquiries

Please note, Room Hire is non refundable if you cancel

  • Room Hire is for a 4-hour period
  • Any room booked for a Saturday day time event will only be available till 4pm with the bar closing at 3.30pm
  • Evening Room Hire is from 7pm to 11pm, unless Late License is purchased, which provides an extra hour in the room with the bar calling last orders at 11.15pm and time at 11.30pm and vacating at 12pm
  • If you would like an earlier start time the cost of the room is £25 per hour, If you would like the disco earlier this is £70 per hour
  • All 3 Suites come as standard with rectangular tables and chairs, the Callerton and Amble Suite can be upgraded to Round Tables with cloths at £10 per table
  • Please note that if you have the maximum amount of guests attending for your chosen suite the rooms can only be set a certain way to accommodate this
  • For decorating the room before your event we ask you contact us the week prior, we will advise what time your room will be ready as it may be in use through the day

Only drinks bought on the premises can be consumed in our function rooms. All 3 Suites have their own dedicated bar.

£3.50pp

Prosecco flute / Bottle Peroni or Corona / Glass of Fresh Orange

We have our own in-house DJs available in any of the 3 Suites, You can add a DJ & Disco to your event by informing us when booking

DJ for 4-hour Party/Function (7-11pm) £200

DJ & Karaoke for 4-hour Party/Function £250

Bluetooth speaker hire £20

Alternatively you can hire your own entertainment as long as we are provided with a copy of their insurance

 

Please note We do not permit any outside catering on site

If you require food for your event, please speak to us regarding the menu options

  • Damage deposit of £125 required
  • Deposits are returned next working day after the Facilities Manager has checked the suite and toilets for damage
  • Standard bar times 7-11pm with last orders 10.45pm
  • No Late license available for 18/21st
  •  The booking is only accepted on the understanding that a minimum of 40% of those attending will be responsible adults
  • The member booking the party is responsible for the conduct of all attendees

All 3 Suites are able to have our Bouncy Castles in

All castles are PIPA tested and we do not permit outside hire

 

Kids Party Information

Room hire needs to be paid in full to secure your booking

Please note we do not allow 13th or 16th Birthday Parties

  • A 2 Hour time slot 
  • Additional Hours £25 per
  • We do not hire out our suites for Children’s parties on a Friday or Saturday night.
  • If booking is on a Saturday latest time slot available is 2-4pm

 

We have 3 Party packages to choose from and an additional if you are in the Callerton Suite

These packages include the room hire, so if you have booked and paid the room hire, it will be taken off your final payment on the package

Note : We do not allow outside catering

  • All our suites fit our Bouncy Castles available to hire
  • Soft play can also be hired alongside the Bouncy Castle
  • Ideal for U5’s only, the Toddler Park only fits into the Callerton Suite, or can be put onto our sports court.
  • We also have a larger Bouncy Castle which can be hired on the Sports Court
