Blue Flames is a registered Community Amateur Sports Club (CASC) and a not-for-profit business whose mission is to provide quality sport and leisure facilities at affordable prices to the community at large. 

The Club is located at the eastern edge of Newcastle upon Tyne on Whitley Road and is a Sports and Leisure complex on the 15 acre Whitley Park site. 

Providing access to sporting activities including football, netball, cricket, tennis, badminton and bowls through facilities such as a sports hall, clubhouse, grass pitches, wickets and a bowls green, Blue Flames acts as a versatile and leading sports venue in the area.

As well as a popular sports venue, the centre also caters for a whole range of leisure activities and offers full Conferencing facilities.

Blue Flames has 3 licenced function rooms, suitable for events ranging from meetings to training sessions, presentations to celebrations, and has rooms with capacities of between 100-250 people. The centre’s non for profit status helps us price low and create savings for those who hire our facilities.
